Whilst step three of the lockdown Roadmap allows museums to open from the 17th May, the requirement to ensure social distancing remains. Our 15th century building with it’s one, original staircase and tight passageways prevents us from implementing appropriate measures. Our overriding responsibility remains the safety of our visitors and volunteers. We hope that further relaxations in the regulations will allow us to open later in the season.
From 21st July, when we re-open we will operate the open hours as below; Open Wednesday to Sunday 13:00 – 16:00
In celebration of the end of lockdown all visitors will be FREE until the end of October
